VARSITY Head Coach: Tony Sanchez
Fourth year as head coach of the Fightin' Grizzlies. A former standout wide receiver at Granada High School in Livermore where he set league and school records, Coach Sanchez's jersey number 81 was retired upon his graduation from Granada in recognition of his achievements. He played college football at Laney Community College and received a full football scholarship to New Mexico State University. He coached football at New Mexico State, Irvin H.S. in El Paso, TX and Onate H.S. in Las Cruces, NM. Coach Sanchez holds a B.S. in Family and Consumer Science and a Masters degree in Special Education. He is married to his wife, Tessie and has two small children, daughter Alyssa, age 5 and son Jason, age 3.

JV Coaching Staff
Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator: Garrett Johnson Third year as head coach of the Junior Varsity team. Coach Johnson played football for and graduated from Granada High School in Livermore. He played wide receiver at Grossmont Junior College in 2001. He also played wide receiver at New Mexico State University in 2003. He was a student assistant at New Mexico State in the spring of 2004.

Freshman Coaching Staff
Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator: Bill Hoafs Third year as head coach of the Freshman team. Coach Hoefs played football for Monte Vista High and graduated from there in 1974. He was head Varsity coach at Washington High School in Fremont from 2003 to 2004; in 2004, they posted a 7-3 winning record. Coach Hoefs was the head Freshman coach at Amador Valley High from 2001 to 2002. He is married to wife Kelli and has two sons, Mike, age 24 and Matt, age 23.
